"Agnes, a young woman living in Berlin, is driven by her need for nearness and a certain longing for death. Wandering through the streets of the nocturnal Berlin she gets into several situations, where she tries to overcome her limits. But she realizes that she cannot deal with the nearness that she is getting by the people, especially men, she is encountering through the night. But Agnes also realizes that she wants to live."
